The sun is starting to come out, the weather is changing, and it’s time for a new season. A new month is upon us, which means we are getting closer to spring! This means that spring cleaning will be here before we know it. While cleaning out your home and deciding on things to donate, please consider Andes-Straley Veterinarian Hospital! Your donations will be used for a variety of things at our hospital, and our animals will greatly appreciate them! Here are a few items we need and what we will use them for!

Towels and Blankets

Towels and blankets are a hot commodity at veterinarian offices! We would love any of your gently used blankets, sheets, or towels you want to get rid of. We use towels for a variety of things at our office. Sometimes they are used to help with grooming, cleaning up accidents, or providing a soft space to lay on after surgery. Linens are especially used with our wildlife rehabilitation animals. Blankets are also welcomed! Often we use sheets and towels for animals that ultimately go home with them. We want our animals to be comfortable when they leave here, and if they need a blanket, we will send it! Any linens of this variety would be much appreciated and welcomed.

Animal Care Supplies

If you have any gently-used animal supplies you would like to donate; we most likely will use them! Some popular items include food dishes, bowls, small critter cages, water bottles, leashes, collars, and pet carriers. Also, pet beds, cat litter, and puppy pads are much appreciated! At Andes-Straley, we have different services like boarding, grooming, animal care, general medicine, general surgery, and more. Our varied services bring in a diverse group of animals. As a result, we are always in need of various supplies!

During your spring cleaning this year, we ask to keep Andes-Straley in mind for your donations! These are just some general supplies we need. If you have a question about the items we accept, please call our office! We much appreciate you keeping us in mind during your spring clean out this year.
