Hollie Templeton

Hollie Templeton

Practice Manager

Hollie has worked in Veterinary Medicine since 2002. She started working part time after school as a Veterinary Assistant. In 2004, she was introduced into managing a small practice while pursuing her Biology Degree at ETSU. In 2008, she joined Andes-Straley Veterinary Hospital and in 2010, Hollie took on the role of practice manager of both Andes-Straley and Church Hill Vet. She is currently working towards her Certified Veterinary Practice Management license, LVT and Business degree. Hollie has a passion for bully breeds, birds, and exotic medicine. She operates East TN Avian Sky, East Tennessee Wildlife Rehabilitation and East TN Veterinary Managers Group. Hollie has several pets at her home in Blountville which include: 4 cats, 4 dogs, 12 birds, 2 bearded dragons, 12 chickens, a miniature pony, a horse, a chinchilla and a fresh water aquarium. She enjoys reading, cheerleading, swimming and spending time with her daughter.


Shannon Beckett

Veterinary Assistant

Shannon is a native of Ft Washington, MD. She moved to TN when she was 10 years old. She moved back to the DC suburbs after graduation but returned because she missed the relaxed easy going atmosphere of East TN. She began working as a vet assistant in 2008 and joined the team at Andes-Straley in 2014. She took some brief time off to spend with her son Jaxon but is excited to return to full-time. Shannon, her husband, son, and step-son are owned by a lazy coonhound and a sleepy cat. Her favorite part of working at ASVH is working with the exotics and wildlife.

Veterinary Assistant

Stacy has been with Andes-Straley for two years but has been in the Veterinary field for seven years. She is from East Tennessee and enjoys making decorations for holidays, planting flowers and spending time with her husband and with her pets. Stacy got into the Veterinary field because she has always liked helping injured animals and helping stray animals find a good home. Her future goal is to continue her career working in the Veterinary field.

Travis started working with animals in a veterinary setting at 12 years old. I moved to east TN 11 years ago. Travis lives with his daughter and girlfriend in Kingsport, TN. Travis has 2 dogs, a cat, 2 goldfish and a rat. He enjoys video games, movies, and playing games with his daughter.

Brian has been with ASVH for over 3 years now an keeps progressing everyday. He was born and raised in East Tennessee, love's the outdoors and hiking with his 2 yr old german shepherd Tyrion. He has always had a passion for animals and loves to work with all types of pets especially with our wildlife rescue program


Lana Montgomery

Lana moved to Tennessee from Dallas, TX at the age of five. She fell in love with the mountains of Tennessee and decided this is where she wanted to be. Lana has a daughter, Megan, who loves animals as much as she does. In 2006, Lana decided it was time to do what she always wanted & that is to work in the animal field. Lana always said “If I had a connection with humans like I do animals I would have this life made”. Lana joined Andes-Straley Veterinary Hospital in March of 2013. Lana has continued to learn and progress in her position. Lana plans to continue educating herself in this field and grow old with all her loving pets and family.

Tiffanie has lived in the Blountville area all her life. She started working at Andes-Straley in July 2015, shortly after she graduated from Northeast State with her Associates in Office Administration. She has always had a passion for animals. She has 5 dogs and 3 cats of her own at her home in Blountville.

Lauren just recently started at Andes- Straley. She has a big heart for animals. Lauren has 3 cats and a pit named Mia. She also has a 3 year old daughter named Lily. Lauren went to Northeast State for business administration and has worked in customer service for the past 10 years.

I am a working mom of 2 wonderful girls with a passion for capturing wonderful memories. I started taking photos at a very young age when my mom gave me a camera at age 3. Hannah started working here in September of 2016. She has always been an avid animal lover since she can remember. She is attending Northeast State Community College and is majoring in Pre-Health and hopes to graduate, and transfer to The University of Tennessee to pursue her education in Veterinary Medicine.
